An Indian student stranded in Iran amid escalating US-Israel airstrikes has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Government of India for urgent evacuation assistance.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the student said that while she understands Indian authorities are making efforts to help, ‘speed also matters’. She urged the Indian government and the MEA to evacuate Indian students at the earliest, stating that the airstrikes are intensifying and the situation is worsening.

Embassy issues advisory

Amid the escalating tensions, the Indian Embassy has issued an advisory for Indian nationals in the region, urging them to remain vigilant and exercise utmost caution.

The Embassy of India in Tel Aviv has advised citizens to strictly follow safety guidelines issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command. Indian nationals have been asked to remain close to designated shelters and identify the nearest protected spaces near their residence or workplace.

The advisory also recommends avoiding all non-essential travel until further notice. Citizens are encouraged to closely monitor local news, official announcements, and emergency alerts for real-time updates.
