Indian-origin man killed in front of wife in US road rage

A man of Indian origin was shot dead in a suspected road rage in USA’s Indiana.

29-year-old Gavin Dasaur of Indian-origin was returning home with his Mexican wife, Viviana Zamora, when he got into an altercation with a pick-up truck driver on the road, according to local police.

In a video that surfaced online, Dasaur could be seen approaching the van driver in rage with a gun in his hand. The person in the van shoots Dasaur, who collapses afterwards.

The police also added that the accused may have fired in self-defence. The accused, detained by the police, was later released after consideration by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.

Dasaur, originally from Agra, went to the US recently after his wedding on June 29.
