A warrant was also issued against Sahoo.Later, police were informed that the accused had returned to the initial spot. Over which the cops showed up at the scene, but were met with a fleeing Sahoo, who tried to squeeze through the police vehicles blocking his way and struck the two officers with his car while absconding, according to media reports.Sahoo was reportedly shot at by one of the officers, killing him on the scene.One of the two officers injured in this confrontation was also shifted to a hospital.As per reports, Sahoo may also have been a naturalised US citizen.
