Indian-origin CEO appeals for urgent help in family property dispute from UP police via X

After an Indian-origin tech company entrepreneur in the US wrote an appeal for justice on X regarding a family property dispute, Varanasi Police reacted and filed an FIR.
Ayush Jaiswal, co-founder and CEO of Pesto Tech wrote an appeal on behalf of his father, Rajendra Jaiswal, 64, a resident of Varanasi.
According to his appeal, his father was harassed by an employee of his shop who is also a family member. The employee broke the locks of his shop and replaced locks, harassing all other family members for the property.
Ayush wrote, “Despite repeated pleas to the UP Police, no FIR has been registered. Instead, the complainant was thrown out of the police station and calls to the helpline were unanswered.”
He also claimed that the family member had a gun. He was threatening and constantly trying to extort money from Ayush, too.
Reacting to this, the police commissioner of Varanasi asked DCP Kashi Zone to note the issue.
Finally, on Tuesday, Ayush posted that an FIR was filed and their version of the story was verified.
