Indian man gropes visitors at water park in Canada, arrested

A 25-year-old man of Indian-origin, was arrested following sexual assault incidents in Moncton, Canada. According to a statement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the man, a resident of Nova Scotia, walked around and groped multiple people at a water park on July 7.

The Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of sexual interference and sexual assault at Magic Mountain Splashzone water park on Mountain Road in Moncton on July 7, around 2 pm.

According to police, there were at least twelve victims, some of whom were under the age of 16.

Police located the individual who was still on the premises, and arrested him without incident. He was later released from custody, and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Oct 24.

“This is still an active investigation, and we are working diligently to understand if there were other victims,” said Sgt Sylvette Hebert with the Codiac Regional RCMP.

One of the victims took to her Facebook handle that she and another mother witnessed some of the other assaults. She stated that one of the four men was “touching everyone”.
