Hyderabad youth shot dead in Washington DC

A shooting incident has been reported in the same city US President-elect Donald Trump will take the oath in a few hours.
A young man from Hyderabad lost his life in this shooting in Washington DC. Local police have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and are also trying to identify the shooter.
According to the reports, the deceased, Ravi Teja, a resident of RK Puram Green Hills Colony in Hyderabad moved to the US in March 2022. After completing his master’s degree, he was searching for a job. The news of the incident has left his family in shock.
This marks the second student death from Telangana in the last 3 months. Previously, in November 2024, a resident from the Khammam district of Telangana, Sai Teja, was shot and killed in Chicago.
Sai Teja, who completed BBA, had moved to the United States just four months ago to pursue MS at Concordia University, Wisconsin. He was said to be doing a part-time job at a gas station for the last few days.
At the time of the attack, Sai was not on duty but was helping out a friend who had gone out on some work.
