However, Desai succumbed to his injuries at the scene due to the severity of the wounds. A 42-year-old man, who lived in the same house, was arrested at the property and has been charged with murder.&nbsp;Desai had a love marriage with a woman from his city who obtained a student visa for Australia and from there, sponsored Desai on a spouse visa to join her.&nbsp;However, within a few years, they divorced, and the woman returned to her native after completing her education. Meanwhile, Desai has been living in Australia for 12 years, working odd jobs to make a living.He used to live in Burwood with three others in a rented apartment.On Tuesday night, all four roommates were having a party when Desai and a roommate had an argument over an unidentified issue, which escalated into a heated fight.The enraged roommate stabbed Desai, leaving him bloodied on the floor.&nbsp;Desai is survived by his widowed mother- Mayaben, his sister and brother-in-law who live in Germany.As per reports, the Indian community in Australia has initiated a process to send the dead body to India.&nbsp;
