Gujarat-origin Dhruvi Patel wins Miss India Worldwide 2024

An Indian-origin with her roots in Gujarat, Dhruvi Patel (24), won the prestigious title of Miss India Worldwide 2024.

Patel, a pageant enthusiast, took part in Miss India Worldwide which is a beauty pageant that draws contestants from India and from among members of the Indian diaspora residing in other countries.

“Winning Miss India Worldwide is such an incredible honour. It’s more than a crown - it represents my heritage, my values, and the opportunity to inspire others on a global scale,” said Dhruvi after her crowning in Edison, New Jersey.

Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname was declared the first runner up while Malvika Sharma from Netherlands was adjudged the second runner up.

In the Mrs. category, SuAnn Mouttet from Trinidad and Tobago was the winner with Sneha Nambiar as first runner up and Pawandip Kaur from United Kingdom as the second runner up.

In Teen category Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe was crowned as Miss teen India Worldwide, followed by Shreya Singh from Netherlands as Second Runner Up, and Shradha Tedjoe from Suriname as the second runner up.

Who is Dhruvi Patel?

Patel is a computer information system student at Quinnipiac University is a philanthropist with aspirations to become a Hindi cinema actor and a UNICEF Ambassador.

According to her model profile, she has significant interests in combat sports, dancing, cycling, and gyming.

She is proficient in English, Gujarati and Hindi languages.

Patel was also crowned as Miss India New England 2023. Being an Instagram influencer, she has garnered over 18k followers.

The Miss India Worldwide 2024 is organised by New York based India Festival Committee, headed by eminent Indian-American Neelam and Dharmatma Saran, the pageant is considered among the top ethnic pageants in the world celebrating its 31st anniversary this year.
