In May, after his wife had reportedly left him for the first time, he uploaded a video in Gujarati in which he spoke about thoughts of suicide and urged relatives to intervene.
The woman later returned after her reported relationship with the younger man ended. The reconciliation, however, did not last, according to sources, and she subsequently left her husband again.
Police have not publicly confirmed the family’s claims about the couple’s relationship or the circumstances that allegedly led the woman to the apartment. The investigation is continuing.
