‘Go back to India’ Indian-origin worker faces racial abuse in Canada

In yet another incident of racism faced by Indians abroad, a video of a man hurling disturbing comments has gone viral on social media. 

The viral video captures a White man allegedly asking an Indian-origin employee “Go back to your f***ing country, you stinky a** India”.

Captured in a McDonald’s outlet in Oakville, the clip gained massive traction on the X this week.

The Indian-origin woman who was recording the clip condemned and asked him, “Are you gonna work there? Who are you to tell us to leave?”

The man comes closer to the employee and repeats his statement “Go back to your f***ing country, you stinky a** India”.

Notably, the comment section of the video was not divided. Canadians assembled to support the man, seemingly a teen, after his behaviour with the Indian-origin staff.

A user commented, “We have millions upon millions of invaders in Canada now. Something like 7% of our population is Indian now. Check my numbers, and most of that happened in a couple of waves, but since 2012 or so, it's gone haywire. And many of them have no ‘commonwealth’ type ideology. They want free things and to commit crimes.”

While another commented, “It’s rarely happening in Canada, just occurred this time only. I have been in Canada for 40 years now."
