Gigi Hadid ‘sick to my stomach’ after mention in Epstein Files, denies link

Supermodel Gigi Hadid has reportedly responded to her name appearing in documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein, firmly denying any connection to him. Addressing the controversy, she said the mention left her feeling “sick to my stomach”, and clarified that she chose to remain silent initially out of respect for the victims involved in the case. Her sister, Bella Hadid, was also referenced in the same files.
The documents, part of US Department of Justice records, included a 2015 email exchange in which an unidentified individual questioned how the Hadid sisters became successful models. Epstein reportedly responded vaguely, dismissing claims that their father had paid agencies, instead attributing their success to their ability to “follow directions”. Following the release of these emails, social media users began questioning Gigi’s silence, prompting her to respond publicly.
In a now-deleted Instagram reply, Gigi reportedly clarified that she had never met or had any association with Epstein. She described the comments made about her in the emails as disturbing, especially given she was only around 20 or 21 at the time. She emphasised that she has “never had any affiliation with that disgusting human being”.
As per reports, Gigi also spoke about her background, acknowledging the role of her parents, Mohamed Hadid and Yolanda Hadid, in supporting and protecting her while instilling a strong work ethic. She reiterated that since signing with a modelling agency in 2012, she has worked hard to build her career.
The Epstein case, which involved multiple allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking between 2008 and 2019, led to his arrest in July 2019. He died by suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal charges.
