‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry’s home bought by Indian-origin woman
An Indian-origin entrepreneur is now the new owner of a luxury residence in Los Angeles where ‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry was found dead last year.
Anita Lallian, who bought the house said, “We knew it was ‘the one’ and decided to write an offer on it immediately.”
“I absolutely fell in love with the features, especially the view of the Pacific Ocean,” she added.
According to her Instagram profile, she did the housewarming of the new property with Hindu rituals and puja on the premises.
In the post, she also shared a photo of a pandit performing a blessing Hindu ceremony on the pool deck of Matthew’s house.
She claimed that she “chose to honour the positive aspects of the previous owner’s (Matthew) life, his immense talent, and all the joy he brought to so many people.”
While Anita said that she would make some aesthetic changes to the Matthew’s, she has decided to keep the Matthew-special Batman symbol by the pool.
“We do plan to keep some of the design elements. The Batman logo in the pool is definitely staying,” she wrote.
Anita also shared a photo of the pool where the actor was found dead on Oct 28, 2023.
