Engineer from Andhra drowns in US. waterfall while celebrating birthday

A 26-year-old software engineer from Andhra Pradesh has died of drowning in a waterfall in California, USA. The victim was identified as Singireddy Sai Sriharikrishna. 

The incident happened when  Sriharikrishna was celebrating his birthday with friends. As per reports, when he entered water, he got caught in a strong current, a whirlpool pulled him under and he drowned.

Srihari was originally from Piridi village in Andhra Pradesh. He worked as a software engineer in the United States.

As per reports, his friends tried to save him from the strong water current, but they could not.

 A happy birthday celebration turned into a heartbreaking loss for his family and friends.

Local authorities later recovered his body and started an investigation into the incident. They also warned people to be careful near waterfalls and fast-moving water.

His family in India has been informed about the tragedy. Friends and relatives are mourning his death and remembering him as a kind and hardworking person.
