Andhra man missing for six months found dead in Texas, suicide suspected
A young man from Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district was found dead in Texas in the US, a day after going missing.
As per reports, Abhishek Kolli was reported missing on March 22 from Phoenix and later found dead on March 23.
Abhishek’s twin brother Aravind Kolli stated in a post on the fundraising website, “His passing wasn’t just a tragedy—it was a devastating consequence of the overwhelming financial crisis he faced and unforeseen circumstances. A burden that grew too heavy for him eventually made him take his own life.”
Aravind is raising funds to cover the costs of Abhishek's funeral services and the expenses of transporting him to India.
“The remaining funds will be sent to his parents to help them carry on with funeral services in India and also secure the parent’s future since they lost the breadwinner of the family,” Aravind wrote.
According to local media reports, authorities were actively searching for Abhishek after he disappeared under “unclear circumstances”.
Before moving to Princeton, Abhishek was married for a year and was living with his wife in Phoenix, as per media reports.
According to his brother, he has been unemployed for the past six months.
The fundraiser post received $59,407 out of the goal of $70,000.
