YouTuber Anurag Dobhal in ICU after car crash during livestream

Popular YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, also known as ‘UK07 Rider’, is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after a serious car accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the accident happened while he was doing a livestream watched by more than 80,000 people.

According to his manager Rohit Pandey, Dobhal is still under medical observation. In an instagram post, Pandey said that Dobhal’s wife, close friends, and family members are at the hospital with him and asked people not to spread rumours or hate during this difficult time.

Reports say the 28-year-old YouTuber was driving his Toyota Fortuner at around 160 km/h when the car crashed into a highway divider. The accident happened during a livestream where Dobhal looked emotionally disturbed and called it his “final drive”.

During the livestream, he reportedly spoke about his mental stress and personal problems, he said he had been feeling depressed and had not eaten for five days. He also talked about family disputes and financial disagreements.

Dobhal had earlier posted on social media that some family members were against his inter-caste marriage with his wife Ritika Chauhan. He also claimed there were issues related to property and family conflicts.

Before the crash, he reportedly called the driver a farewell, which worried many viewers watching online.

He also claimed that even his wife, Ritika, had left his side. "Mere maut ke zimmedar mummy, papa, Kalam (brother) and Shreya. I have nothing left to do anything. I am under a lot of depression. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha kaise yeh feeling eliminate karoon. Iss video ke baad shayad main gayab ho jaaunga. Main bus sona chahta hoon. 5 din se kuch khaaya nahi hai, dimaag ekdum khatam hogaya hai (My parents and family members are responsible for my death. I don't understand how to eliminate this feeling. After this video, maybe I will disappear. I just want to sleep. I haven't eaten anything for five days; my mind feels completely exhausted)," he said.

After the accident, Dobhal was first taken to a hospital in Meerut and later shifted to another hospital where he is currently being treated in the ICU for multiple injuries and fractures.

Some reports claim that Dobhal’s father has released a statement disowning him, but these reports have not been officially confirmed yet.
