Youth ends his life after shooting fellow female student in Punjab’s law college

In a chilling video that surfaced online, a student shot and killed another student in a classroom at a law college in Punjab’s Tarantaran. Right after, the accused also shot himself with the same gun.

The deceased student has been identified as Sandeep Kaur, 20 years old, a resident of Naushehra Pannuan. While the attacker has been identified as Prince Raj, a resident of Maliyan village.

In  the CCTV footage of the incident, it can be seen that Raj comes to the classroom and shoots Kaur, who is sitting there, in the head at close range. Immediately after that, he reloads the pistol and shoots himself in the head and falls down. Both of them were reported dead on the spot. 

DSP Jagbir Singh said that the incident took place as soon as the class started. The police have sent the bodies for postmortem and have started investigating the case.

However, the police are investigating why Raj took such a step, and are currently questioning the family and other students.
