Uttarakhand horror: Girl found in ‘unstable state’ after gangrape, six arrested

After the Kolkata murder-rape case, reports suggest a girl was gang-raped on Aug 13 in a parked Uttarakhand state transport bus.
The survivor was reportedly assaulted by state bus employees at Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT).
According to reports, the girl was found in a reportedly unstable state when police arrived at the spot.
In the initial counselling, it was revealed that she was from UP’s Moradabad. A total of six individuals were arrested including the bus driver, a conductor, and a cashier.
On the night of Aug 12, the victim reached Dehradun by Uttarakhand Roadways bus from ISBT Delhi. It was then, in the middle of the night, that the horrifying incident of gang rape against the minor took place.
