UP CM calls for strict action on loudspeakers at religious places

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called for strict and permanent noise control measures at religious places to tackle the issue of noise pollution. Addressing officials, he emphasised the need for regulation and directed authorities to ensure compliance with noise control norms.

He also informed that no loud DJs will be allowed to be operated in holi at holy places.

Additionally, CM Yogi instructed officials to install CCTV cameras at key locations, including banks, financial institutions, shops, and commercial establishments, to enhance security and surveillance.

He also issued directives for strict monitoring of cattle smuggling, warning of stern action against smugglers, vehicle owners, and any police personnel found complicit in such illegal activities.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Gorakhpur on Thursday to participate in the vibrant Holi celebrations, joining in the Holika Dahan, which will begin from Pandeyhata in the evening.  

He will also take part in the colourful Lord Narasimha Shobha Yatra, which will start from Ghantaghar, infusing the celebrations with the spirit of unity and harmony.

Gorakhpur, the sacred seat of Guru Gorakhnath, celebrates Holi with immense enthusiasm, where the social fabric of the city comes alive with the colours of harmony.
