Two bus, one car collide on Shegaon-Khamgaon Highway in Maharashtra: 5 dead, 24 injured

A three-vehicle accident occurred on the Shegaon-Khamgaon Highway in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of at least five people on the spot, according to reports.
According to the information, the accident involved a private bus, an MSRTC (Maharashtra State Road Transport Services) bus, and a Bolero car.
The crash happened in the early hours on Wednesday when a speeding Bolero collided with the MSRTC bus. A private bus following these vehicles also got involved in the accident. The accident claimed five lives, while 24 others sustained injuries and are undergoing treatments.
The accident impact was so severe that the car which was involved in the crash was completely crushed. The two buses involved also sustained damage, leading to a high number of injuries.
The incident occurred early in the morning, prompting an immediate response from the police. The police and emergency services ambulance, quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
