On the evening of September 8, the Kalindi Express, heading towards Bhiwani,  hit an LPG cylinder placed on the tracks between Barringpur and Bilhaur on the Anwarganj-Kasganj railway line. A loud explosion was heard, prompting the loco pilot to stop the train.

Railway staff and officials immediately rushed to the scene upon receiving the information.

The police, however, have denied any explosion occurred. According to RPF Inspector O P Meena, two people have been arrested based on camera footage.

Moreover a bottle filled with petrol, matches, and a suspicious bag containing matches and explosives were found at the scene.
