Stone-pelting damages Vande Bharat Express carrying RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

A security alert was issued on Thursday afternoon after miscreants allegedly hurled stones at the Vande Bharat Express (22489) while it was en route to Delhi.
According to reports, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was among the passengers on board at the time of the incident.
The attack reportedly occurred around 3.20 pm near Kauda. Railway officials said a stone hit the window of coach C4, causing a crack in the glass panel.
No injuries were reported, and all passengers, including Bhagwat, remained safe. The train continued its scheduled journey and reached Meerut without disruption.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Meerut has initiated an investigation. A special team is expected to conduct further inquiries into the incident.
Bhagwat later deboarded at Meerut Railway Station around 9 pm amid heightened security arrangements and proceeded to his stay.
