Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has advised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and RSS workers to marry and have children themselves over  Bhagwat’s statements encouraging Hindus to have more children.

Swami Avimukteshwaranandmade the comment while speaking at Devbhoomi Industrial Training Institute on Dohra Road in Bareilly.

The Shankaracharya said that if increasing population is important, then RSS leaders should first marry before placing such responsibility on others.

He also pointed out that the government often talks about population explosion, while at the same time these people encourage having more children. According to him, this creates confusion.

He added that leaders should lead by example. He said they should first follow their own advice before asking society to do the same.

Shankaracharya's remarks came during his interaction with journalists at the event. He answered questions related to population and social responsibility.

His statement has sparked discussion, as it directly responded to the population debate and highlighted different opinions on family size and leadership responsibility.
