Faizabad, one of the 80 Lok Sabha constituencies in UP is located in the district of Ayodhya. Faizabad saw SP’s Awadesh Prasad leading with a margin of 56,768 votes. 

In the land of Ram Mandir, a major topic of BJP campaigns this election, Lallu Singh of saffron party was trailing in the constituency as he has secured 4,90,405 votes so far.

In BJP’s stronghold state- UP, INDIA bloc is leading with 44 seats while BJP is at 32 seats.

Notably, Singh emerged victorious in both the 2014 and 2019 Indian general elections, securing his seat in the Lok Sabha representing the same constituency.
