Prez Murmu receives credentials from US, Austria, Trinidad and Tobago envoys

President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday received the credentials of the United States Ambassador to India and Special Envoy to South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

In the same ceremony, the President also accepted the credentials of Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and Dr Robert Zischg, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria.

In a post on X, Rashtrapati Bhavan said, “President Droupadi Murmu received credentials from Mr Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; Dr Robert Zischg, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria; and Mr Sergio Gor, Ambassador of the United States of America, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

Sergio Gor had earlier taken oath as the new US Ambassador to India on Monday at the US Embassy premises in New Delhi.
