Poll bound Bihar on alert after infiltration by 3 JeM terrorists police release sketches
Terrorist infiltration in Bihar

Amid Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar, police have shared sketches of three terrorists from Pakistan who reportedly entered the state through Nepal.

The police have issued a high alert after inputs of infiltration by three terrorists, who belong to the banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed, were received.

As per reports, the terrorists have been identified as:

  • Hasnain Ali, a resident of Rawalpindi
  • Adil Hussain of Umarkot
  • Mohammad Usman of Bahawalpur

The passport details of the three terrorists have also been made public. The terrorists had arrived in Kathmandu in the second week of August and later infiltrated into Bihar through the Nepal border in the third week.

With assembly polls slated later this year, security has been amped up in the state.

Districts such as Araria, Kishanganj, and Supaul, located along the Nepal border near Bhagalpur, have been placed on high alert. Madhubani, Sitamarhi, East Champaran, and West Champaran, which also lie along the border, are under similar security measures, with search operations underway.
