Modi 3.0 swearing-in ceremony: After PM Modi, Shah, Mandaviya, Patil take oath

Winning majority seats, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to form the government. As the clock ticked 7.22 pm today, Narendra Modi took oath as prime minister for the third consecutive time.

On the occasion, leaders from India’s neighbourhood and Indian Ocean region were cordially invited as distinguished guests.

President Droupadi Murmu arrive at the venue of swearing-in ceremony.

Narendra Modi arrive at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, bows down addressing the public and sits beside Rajnath Singh.

Congress President and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge present at Rashtrapati Bhavan.


Chief Justice of India Dr Dhananjaya Chandrachud and his wife Kalpana Das arrive at ceremony venue.

Not wanting to be late for Punjab to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official home in central Delhi today, BJP leader Ravneet SIngh Bittu was seen running along with his guards as the traffic in the national capital had slowed his car down.

BJP's Andhra MP Bhupathi Raju slated to become Union Minister

Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma is likely to take oath as a Union Minister today.  

Varma, who was elected from Narsapuram constituency, has reportedly received a communication to this effect from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Six Maharashtra MPs set to get ministerial berths

Six MPs from Maharashtra are set to be inducted into Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government -- Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Raksha Khadse, Murlidhar Mohol, Ramdas Athawale and Prataprao Jadhav. 

Incidentally, none of the NCP MPs, including Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare, will get the ministerial berths.

Similarly, BJP's outgoing Union Ministers Narayan Rane and Dr Bhagwat Karad have not found a place in the new cabinet.

Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay from Telangana to be part of Modi 3.0 team

Two BJP MPs from Telangana are set to take oath as ministers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Cabinet. 

State BJP president G. Kishan Reddy, who was a member of the outgoing Cabinet, has retained his place while Bandi Sanjay Kumar will be the new face in the ministry from Telangana, party sources said.

Kumaraswamy to be sworn in as Cabinet Minister

JD-S President HD Kumaraswamy is all set to be sworn in as a Union Cabinet Minister in Modi 3.0 government. 

Kumaraswamy won the Mandya Lok Sabha seat with a thumping margin of 2.84 lakh votes against Congress candidate Venkaramane Gowda, a close associate of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.

Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to be in Council of Ministers for 3rd time

After scoring a hat-trick win in the Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is going to become a Central minister for the third time. 

He was one of those who attended the tea party organised at the Prime Minister's residence.

Shekhawat expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for making him a minister for the third time.

While talking to the media, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given him an opportunity to serve the country by including him in his team for the third time.
