Okha–Shakur Basti Special Train to Skip Siddhpur Stop on Four Dates

The Okha–Shakur Basti Special train will skip Siddhpur station on four dates due to platform expansion and height-raising work at the railway station in Gujarat.

Train number 09523 will not stop at Siddhpur on October 20 and 27, and November 3 and 10, 2026. Passengers planning to board or alight at the station on these dates will need to arrange alternative travel.

Platform Expansion Work Underway

Western Railway is extending Platform No. 2 at Siddhpur station on the Ahmedabad–Palanpur rail section under the Ahmedabad Division. The work involves extending the platform by 70 metres at each end and raising its height.

In view of the ongoing work, railway authorities have temporarily cancelled the train’s stoppage at Siddhpur on the four specified dates.

Passengers have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly, as the train will pass through Siddhpur without stopping on these days.
