NIRF Ranking 2025: IIT Madras tops overall & engineering category, IIM Ahmedabad tops in management

Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) has topped the overall institute rankings and engineering category in the NIRF rankings 2025, as announced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranks institutions nationwide based on parameters like teaching, research, graduation outcomes, inclusivity, and perception every year.

For Gujarat, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is ranked at the top in the management category.
