Programmes Planned During Postal Week

Different activities will be organised during the week:

October 9 – World Post Day: Awareness programmes on postal services will be held.

October 12 – Fun with Philately Day: The day will feature philatelic exhibitions, ‘My Stamp’ activities, school awareness programmes, visits to post offices and philatelic bureaus, quizzes, the ‘Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Competition’ and the ‘Deen Dayal SPARSH Scholarship Scheme’.

October 13 – Financial Inclusion and Citizen-Centric Services Day: Dak Choupals, street plays, savings service awareness programmes, Postal Life Insurance activities and Aadhaar camps will be organised.

October 14 – Mails and Parcels Day: Customer meetings will be held for bulk customers, while sorting competitions will be organised for employees at Railway Mail Service offices.

October 15 – Technology and Innovation Day: Technology quizzes will be conducted for employees and customers. A nationwide Postathon walk/run will also be organised to take the ‘One Post Network, Endless Possibilities’ theme to the public.
