MP BJP leader chases woman, beats her brutally, visuals spark outrage

A chilling story of the brutality of a BJP leader drunk with power has come to light from Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. The CCTV footage of the inhuman beating of a woman by a BJP mandal president in Nagaud has gone viral, creating a stir in the entire state.

In Nagaud of Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, BJP Mandal president Pulkit Tandon has been seriously accused of entering a woman’s house and beating her. The CCTV footage that has gone viral on social media clearly shows that the accused leader is behaving extremely indecently with the woman in a place like an iron rod godown and is beating her mercilessly.

The victim stated in the police complaint that accused Tandon had been harassing her for a long time by showing off his political position and class. Late at night, the accused entered the premises of the victim’s house and violently attacked her. After the incident, the frightened woman gathered courage and filed a written complaint at the Nagaud police station.

Considering the seriousness of the incident and the video going viral, the police have registered a case against Tandon under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). 

ASP Prem Lal Kurve said that legal action has been taken based on the CCTV footage and the victim’s statements. On the other hand, the BJP district office has also issued a letter in this matter, in which an explanation has been sought from the accused leader within a week.

The BJP government, which talks a lot about women's respect, is now in trouble due to this act of its own leader. Congress state president Jitu Patwari has attacked the government by sharing this video. The viral video has raised serious questions on the character of BJP leaders.
