Mission Divyastra: PM Modi announces first successful flight test by DRDO

Cutting the tension, prime minister Narendra Modi on Mar 11, at around 5.35 p.m. announced that DRDO scientists successfully conducted the first flight test of an indigenously developed Agni-5 missile under Mission Divyastra.

As per PM’s tweet, the scientists tested Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology.

“Proud of our DRDO scientists for Mission Divyastra, the first flight test of indigenously developed Agni-5 missile with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology,” said Modi.
