Man accidentally urinates on woman from moving auto, mob beats him to death in Chennai

A 30-year-old van driver was allegedly beaten to death by a group of people after he urinated from a moving auto which accidentally splashed on a woman pedestrian in Chennai on Wednesday, as per reports. The victim's family refused to take the body and demanded the arrest of the killers.
Reportedly, a 30-year-old, Kalaiselvan, a resident of Triplicane, load van driver, who was travelling in an auto with his friend Balaji on Wednesday when the incident occurred. As the auto was passing through Praksam Salai, Kalasielvan who was allegedly drunk, started urinating from the moving auto.
This act led to urine splashed on a woman pedestrian who was walking nearby. After this act, the woman got furious and confronted the two men, which led to an argument. Following this, several people came in support of woman and attacked Kalaiselvan and his friend. At the time of the assault, Kalaiselvan fell unconscious while another man suffered serious injuries.
On Information, Kalaiselvan’s brother reportedly rushed to the spot and took him to hospital where doctors declared him dead. After Kalaiselvan's demise, his family refused to take his dead body and demanded to arrest killers.
The family allegedly blamed the police negligence, claiming the incident occurred near the police station but no immediate help was provided, as per the reports.
The police have registered the case and started the investigation.They are currently examining the CCTV footage from the area to identify the people who were involved in the attack, report.
