Pragya also described Manas as a “psycho” and claimed that he and his sister had assaulted Divya on several occasions. She alleged that Manas had even argued with a counsellor at the family court.
According to Pragya, Manas had prepared a list of household expenses that Divya would have to share on their wedding night, which she had agreed to.
Divya had filed for divorce
Divya and Manas had been married for around 12 years but had been living separately for more than a year. Divya had reportedly filed for divorce last year.
Pragya alleged that Manas accused Divya of cheating on him after she stopped contributing towards household expenses over the past year.

Manas then allegedly returned home and shot his sister, Shiva Vajpayee, 28, who was reportedly dealing with mental health issues. He subsequently died by suicide.

A shopkeeper living near Manas’ house told NDTV that he returned home at around 12.30 pm. The shopkeeper said Manas appeared to be in a hurry and was sweating heavily before entering the house and playing the Hanuman Chalisa.
After seeing Manas’ WhatsApp status, the neighbour reportedly entered the house and found him dead.
Sister questions access to revolvers
Pragya has also raised questions over how Manas obtained the firearms allegedly used in the killings.
She questioned how a bank employee who, according to her, could not even drive a car, managed to get access to three revolvers.
“How did the murderer, who worked at a bank, get access to three revolvers? Who delivered them to him? Who incited him to commit such a heinous crime?” she asked, urging police to investigate whether anyone else was involved.
Divya allegedly faced stalking and harassment
Pragya further claimed that Manas used to stalk Divya and that the prolonged stress had taken a toll on her.
She said Divya had met with an accident a few days before the shooting and suffered injuries to her hands and legs. According to Pragya, Divya was still limping after the accident.
“Everyone knows how much torture Divya has endured,” she said.
