Lt Vinay Narwal’s sister breaks down at his funeral, demands justice from Haryana CM

Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, one of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, was killed by terrorists on Tuesday at Baisaran Valley, just six days after his wedding. His body was brought to Haryana from Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday and cremated with full military honours.

The funeral was attended by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Lt Narwal’s sister, who performed the last rites, broke down in tears and expressed her anguish. She revealed that her brother was alive for one-and-a-half hours after the attack and questioned, “Where was the Army? Where was the help? Nobody came while he was still alive.”

She also told the chief minister, “I want all of them dead. I want justice.”

In response, CM Saini assured her, “Yes, definitely. The terrorists who killed your brother will be brought to justice. They will die.”

While some had claimed that help reached within minutes, Lt Narwal’s sister firmly countered, stating that no one came for an hour-and-a-half.
