Lok Sabha elections 2024: Congress announces sixth list

After announcing its fifth list amid Holi festivities, Congress has also announced the sixth list today, including five names from Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
Rajasthan-fielded candidates include Ramchandra Choudhary from Ajmer, Sudarshan Rawat from Rajsamand, and Dr Damodar Gurjar from Bhilwara. The Indian National Congress (INC) has fielded ex-BJP leader Prahlad Gunjal from Kota, who joined the party on Mar 21. Gunjal is set to face Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla in the Kota constituency.
Moreover, Advocate C Robert Bruce has been given the ticket for the Tirunelveli Lok Sabha seat in Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, on Mar 24, Congress announced the fourth and fifth list with 43 and three names respectively.
The fifth list included Pratibha Dhanorkar from Maharashtra’s Chandrapur, Pratap Kachariyawas from Jaipur, and Murari Lal Meena from Dausa-ST.
In the fourth list Congress fielded Ajay Rai to contest Lok Sabha elections against prime minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi. It included 11 names from Madhya Pradesh along with former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and Congress Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh who will contest the Lok Sabha polls from Rajgarh.
