LeT commander Shabir Ahmed Lone arrested in Delhi Metro poster case

In a significant breakthrough, the Special Cell of the Delhi Police has arrested Shabir Ahmed Lone, an alleged operative of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), in connection with the recently busted Delhi Metro poster case.

According to officials, Lone is believed to be the handler of the LeT module involved in the case, which had raised security concerns after objectionable posters were found at multiple locations in the Delhi Metro network.

Police sources indicate that further interrogation is underway to identify other operatives and uncover the full extent of the network. Authorities are also examining whether the case is linked to broader attempts at disturbing public order or spreading propaganda.
