Delhi-bound Indigo flight makes emergency landing at Nagpur after bomb scare

In another bomb scare on a flight, an IndiGo Airlines flight 6E2706 travelling from Kochi to Delhi made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport after receiving a bomb threat at 12.35 pm, as per reports.
Police and fire teams are inspecting the aircraft. No suspicious item has reportedly been found yet. All passengers were safely evacuated, and the investigation is ongoing.
Security agencies, prioritising safety, instructed the aircraft to land immediately at Nagpur, where all passengers were safely evacuated and the plane was thoroughly inspected.
After receiving the bomb threat, an emergency meeting was held as per protocol. It was confirmed that the threat was serious, especially since the flight number was clearly mentioned in the warning. By the time the threat was received, the flight had reportedly taken off from Kochi. Consequently, for security reasons, it was diverted to Nagpur airport.
Notably, only a day after tragic Ahmedabad plane crash, on June 13, Air India's flight AI379 scheduled to fly from Phuket to New Delhi was diverted back to Phuket in Thailand after a bomb threat note was found in the lavatory of the aircraft, as per reports.
The aircraft reportedly returned to Phuket only after 20 minutes into the flight.
