Kapil Sharma’s residence in Amritsar has reportedly been targeted in an alleged firing incident late at night on Sunday. The incident has created concern among fans and locals, although no injuries have been reported so far.

Unidentified attackers allegedly fired shots outside Kapil Sharma’s house located in the Holy City area of Amritsar, as per reports. The attackers are said to have arrived on motorcycles, carried out the firing, and quickly escaped from the spot. At the time of the incident, Kapil Sharma was reportedly in Mumbai due to professional commitments, while his family members were inside the house but remained unharmed.

After firing outside the residence, they fled immediately, creating panic in the surrounding area. Local residents reportedly heard gunshots and informed authorities soon after the incident.

Security was quickly increased around the area following the reports. Police teams reached the spot and began collecting initial evidence. Police officials have begun a formal investigation into the matter. Teams are reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to local witnesses to understand how the incident took place.

However, senior officers have not yet issued a detailed public statement confirming the exact nature of the firing. No arrests have been made so far, and the motive behind the alleged attack remains unclear.

The incident is also being linked by some reports to earlier attacks involving Kap’s Cafe in Canada, which is associated with Kapil Sharma’s business interests. That cafe was reportedly targeted multiple times in firing incidents during 2025 and 2026.

The police authorities have not confirmed any connection between the Amritsar incident and the Canada cafe shootings, as per reports. Officials are expected to provide more clarity once the investigation progresses further.
