Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) West Prashant Kiran said investigators were trying to determine what triggered the alleged attack.
“We are now trying to determine what triggered the accused to allegedly carry out the attack,” the officer said.
Forensic Teams Examine Crime Scene
Teams from the Forensic Science Laboratory and the dog squad were called to the house as part of the investigation.
Police collected blood samples and other forensic evidence from the scene. The brick allegedly used in the attack has also been taken into custody for examination.
A large crowd gathered outside the house after news of the killings spread.
