Col Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri beings briefing about the Operation Sindoor on Wednesday at 10.35 am.

Government of India presented a visual documentary on the terrorist attacks in India, at media briefing on Operation Sindoor.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri says, "The families who were attacked in Pahalgam, were threatened and told to convey the message of that barbarism. Since tourism was again flourishing in J&K, and hence the main aim of the attack was to damage that.."

 "A group called the Resistance Front has claimed responsibility for Pahalgam attack. This group is connected with Lashkar-e Taiba. Pakistan links have been established in this attack," he added.

"Pakistan is safe haven for terrorists"

Misri said that Operation Sindoor was focused on dismantling terror infrastructure 

It was a 25 minute operation launched at 1.44 am on May 7.

The Foreign Secretary stated that the objective of the attack in Pahalgam was to hinder Jammu and Kashmir's development and progress. The terrorist group TRF has claimed responsibility for the Pahalgam attack, and the attackers have been identified. This attack has a direct connection to Pakistan. Pakistan has become a safe haven for terrorists from around the world. Even 15 days after the attack, Pakistan has not taken any action against the terrorists.

Col Qureshi says, "Operation Sindoor was launched to give justice to victims of Pahalgam terrorist attack. Nine terrorist camps were targeted and destroyed."
