Indian Army briefs on Operation Sindoor: India destroyed six airbases of Pakistan

As tensions between India and Pakistan are rising, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Ministry of Defence (MoD) briefing to be held at 10.30 am on Saturday.
"For last three days Pakistani actions has constituted provocation and escalation, and India has been responding, I repeat, responding responsibly," said Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Saturday.
"From Srinagar to Naliya Pakistan target 26 locations," said Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.
"Pakistan Army has been observed to be moving its troops towards forward areas, indicating an offensive intent to further escalation. Indian armed forces remain in a high state of operational readiness, and all hostile actions have been effectively countered and responded proportionately. Indian armed forces reiterated their commitment to non-escalation, provided the Pakistan side reciprocates" Singh added.
India destroyed around six airbases of Pakistan
"Murid Airbase, Rafiqui Airbase, Nur Khan (Chaklala) Airbase, Rahimyar, Sukkur (Bholari) and Chunian airbases were destroyed by India in response," said Colonel Sofiya Qureshi.
Indian Army informed:
-On Friday night, three civilians, including a woman, were injured in an attack by a Pakistani drone on the outskirts of Ferozepur town in Punjab.
-Pakistan targeted air forces stations at Udhampur, Bathinda, Pathankot and Adampur
-High-speed missile attack carried out on Punjab airbases at 1.40 am
-Attacks on Indian Air Force bases, hospitals, and schools in Srinagar, Awantipur, and Udhampur
-Indian Army responds with counter-operations
-Airstrikes launched on Pakistani military installations using fighter jets
-Pakistan used civilian aircraft flying from Lahore as human shields
-Indian Army ensured the safety of civilians and responded accordingly
-Pakistan spread false information on social media, where they claimed to have destroyed S-400, which we have refuted.
-Shelling with artillery and mortars reported in Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, and Akhnoor; Indian Army gave a proportionate response
-Pakistani military increasing troop deployment to escalate tensions
-Indian Army does not wish to escalate the situation and hopes Pakistan behaves similarly
India provided visual evidence to Pakistan's misleading claims of heavily damaging Indian bases.
Indian Army showed time-stamped images of airbase locations of Air Force Stations in Sirsa, and Suratgarh and debunked Pakistan's claim.

Drone strikes at 5 am today
The Indian Army on Saurday morning informed that Pakistan’s blatant escalation with drone strikes and other munitions continues along western borders.
"In one such incident, today at approximately 5 am, Multiple enemy armed drones were spotted flying over Khasa Cantt, Amritsar. The hostile drones were instantly engaged and destroyed by our air defence units," wrote ADG PI - Indian Army on X.
"Pakistan’s blatant attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable. #IndianArmy will thwart enemy designs," they added.

Drones sighted across 26 locations
"Drones have been sighted at 26 locations along the International Border and LoC with Pakistan. These include suspected armed drones. The locations include Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozpur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet and Lakhi Nala," wrote Ministry of Defence on X.
"Regrettably, an armed drone targeted a civilian area in Ferozpur, resulting in injuries to members of a local family. The injured have been provided medical assistance and the area has been sanitised by security forces," MoD informed.
"The Indian Armed Forces are maintaining a high state of alert, and all such aerial threats are being tracked and engaged using counter-drone systems. The situation is under close and constant watch & prompt action is being taken wherever necessary," they added.
