I.N.D.I.A.'s Meeting

After the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) chaired its all-party meeting and picked PM Modi as their alliance leader, the INDIA bloc met today at Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence in Delhi.

During the meeting, the Congress chief, Kharge, said, “The INDIA Alliance welcomes all parties which shares its fundamental commitment to the values enshrined in the Preamble to our Constitution and to its many provisions for economic, social and political justice.”

Stalwart leaders from various parties are to attend the meeting including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, Akhilesh Yadav, Sanjay Singh, and Jharkhand CM Champai Soren, among other leaders of the alliance.

The meeting was chaired to discuss over the possible equations and avenues of government formation. The alliance members also brainstormed over whether to negotiate talks with former allies Nitish Kumar of JD(U) and N Chandrababu Naidu of TDP.
