In response to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, security has been significantly tightened across key historical sites in India’s national capital, including the Red Fort and India Gate.

The Delhi Police, in coordination with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), has deployed additional personnel and surveillance measures around these high-profile locations. The move comes in the wake of a failed Pakistani attempt to target sites along India’s western border and a recent drone strike on the Jammu airport, which has raised national alert levels.

Security checks have been intensified, and patrolling has been increased in and around the Red Fort and India Gate and other historical places in Delhi. Officials have stated that these are precautionary measures to ensure public safety and prevent any untoward incidents.
