Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren’s grandson dies in mysterious circumstances in Manali

 19-year-old Veer Soren, grandson of former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren, died in mysterious circumstances in Manali on February 24. The ex-CM confirmed his death by posting on X.

According to reports, Veer Soren, the son of Babulal Soren, arrived in Manali on February 22 for a leisure trip. The group was staying at a homestay in the Simsa area.

The group visited Solang Valley and Sethan village near Hamta Pass on February 23 and returned to their place for the evening. On the morning of February 24, Veer decided to stay back in his room while his friends explored the area. When his friends returned around 12:30 PM, Veer complained of a severe headache.

According to reports, Veer took some medicine for his headache and went back to sleep. After they entered the room, they found him unconscious and saw foam forming around his mouth. He was quickly taken to the Civil Hospital in Manali. Despite the doctors performing CPR and giving emergency medical help, Veer was declared dead upon examination.

On 25th February ,former Jharkhand CM confirmed his death by posting on X. “With profound sorrow, we inform you that our beloved grandson Veer Sorin passed away untimely on 24 February 2026. He also noted, “After his health suddenly deteriorated in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, he was rushed to the hospital, but fate had other plans.”

 He also added that his family is shattered “With Veer's departure, our family has been shattered.”
