Five youth die in tragic accident while returning from a wedding in Gohana, Haryana

A joyful wedding celebration in Bhavad village of Gohana turned into mourning after five young men lost their lives in a horrific road accident on Friday evening. The tragedy has left the entire village and the surrounding area in deep shock.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 7 pm on the Bhawad-Ghadwal link road in Gohana, Sonipat district. The victims were returning in a car after attending the ‘Bhat’ ceremony of the wedding when their vehicle allegedly lost control and crashed into a  roadside tree.

The car was moving at a speed of nearly 100 km per hour at the time of the accident, according to reports. 

The injured were rushed to Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College  for treatment. Doctors declared five of the youth dead on arrival. Two other sustained critical injuries. One of them, identified as Rajkishan, was referred to Rothak for advanced treatment, while another youth, Ashok, continues to receive treatment at the medical college.

Golu (24 years) - Ghuskani, Rohtak
