Five dead, 20 injured as bus overturns in Chhattisgarh

At least five people were killed and 20 injured after a private bus overturned in Kardega near Kunkuri in Chhattisgarh on Friday.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Jashpur said that the bus was travelling from Kurdeg in Jharkhand to Kunkuri town in Chhattisgarh.

The driver lost control of the vehicle near Godaamba village under the Tapkara Police Station, causing the bus to overturn, the SP said.

Five passengers died in the accident, while 20 others sustained injuries, as per reports. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, and authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
