ED attaches assets of Yuvraj Singh, Uthappa, Sonu Sood, Urvashi Rauthela and others: Reports

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth ₹7.93 crore as part of its ongoing investigation into the alleged illegal betting app 1xBet, as per reports. The latest action has brought several prominent personalities from sports, films and politics under the scanner.
According to reports, the attached assets are linked to financial transactions allegedly connected to the betting platform. Those named in the current round of action include former Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa, actors Urvashi Rautela, Sonu Sood and Neha Sharma, Trinamool Congress MP and actor Mimi Chakraborty, and cricketer Ankush Hazra.
Officials reportedly said the investigation is focused on tracing proceeds of crime and examining the role of individuals who may have received payments linked to the promotion or endorsement of the platform.
This is not the first instance of high-profile names figuring in the case. In earlier phases of the probe, the ED had attached assets worth ₹4.55 crore linked to cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and ₹6.64 crore associated with former India batter Suresh Raina, sources added.
The agency continues to investigate the case under provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and further action may follow based on the findings.
