Finally, the mystery behind several bomb threats received by schools across Delhi has been unveiled.

It turns out that the accused were students from three different schools who wanted their exams to be postponed.

Recently, several schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails. The Delhi Police disclosed that these threats were made by students from three schools, and shockingly, these students studied in the same schools they targeted.

According to reports, one of the schools that received a bomb threat was Venkateshwar Global School. On November 28, a day after a mysterious explosion at the Prashant Vihar PVR multiplex in Rohini, the school received a threatening email.

Police revealed that the email was sent by a brother-sister duo studying at the school, as they wanted the exams to be postponed.

During counselling, the two students admitted that they were inspired by previous incidents of bomb threats targeting schools. However, both students were allowed to go after their parents were given a warning.

Over 100 schools threatened in 11 days

Similarly, another police officer reported that students from two other schools in Rohini and West Delhi sent threatening emails to their schools. Their motive was also to keep the schools shut. Over the past 11 days, bomb threats have caused chaos in more than 100 schools across Delhi.
