Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, VK Saxena, has directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to conduct a probe into the alleged terror links of Delhi’s incarcerated chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal.

The Delhi LG has written a letter to the home ministry alleging that the party received funding from Khalistani sympathisers and banned terrorist organisation Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), co-founded by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

LG’s complaint against the CM states that these hardliners funded to the tune of $16 m (₹133.5 cr) to the Aam Aadmi Party in exchange for encouraging Khalistani sentiments.

This complaint was filed by Ashoo Mongia, national secretary of the World Hindu Federation-India (WHF), and a former leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, Dr Munish Kumar Raizada.
