Delhi CM name to be announced shortly, BJP meet begins
Ending over a decade-long reign of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the newly-elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to unfold chief minister name on Wednesday evening.
BJP MLAs in Delhi have reached the Party meet and they will shortly to choose their legislative party leader, who will be sworn in as chief minister on Thursday.
The newly elected BJP leader Ravinder Singh Negi, who arrived at the office for the legislature party meeting, said, "Whatever decision the party organization takes, we will follow it.
Notably, Parvesh Verma, Vijender Gupta, and Rekha Gupta had been pulled aside on the sidelines of the Party meeting for a separate discussion, as per reports.

The new Delhi CM along with the Council of Ministers will be administered oath of office by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena on Thursday noon.
The much-awaited swearing-in ceremony will see top political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief ministers of various BJP-ruled states attending the programme. The BJP leaders and workers from other states who contributed to the party’s poll campaign in the capital are also likely to participate in the ceremony.
